Chapter 803 Challenge Dungeon 58

Chapter 803 Challenge Dungeon 58

This place resembles an open-air corridor of an ordinary high school, where students in blue and white school uniforms gather in twos and threes, chatting and laughing or hurrying by with their books in their hands.

The sound of a basketball bouncing on the ground and faint cheers could be heard in the distance, and the air was filled with the unique scent of a youthful campus, a mixture of grass, dust, and a faint smell of sweat.

Everything seemed so normal, even a little too...bright.

But Yun Chu knew that beneath this "bright" facade lay deadly rules and deadly dangers.

She quickly looked down to check herself—she wasn't wearing the iconic blue and white school uniform.

She was wearing a simple casual outfit, but the texture of which was clearly different from the others, making her stand out among the students who were dressed in uniform.

This doesn't work.

You must first integrate into the environment.

Her gaze swept quickly across the surrounding students, locking onto a female NPC of similar build who was leaning against the railing, lost in thought.

Yun Chu walked over expressionlessly, blocking the other person's path.

The girl looked up blankly, saw Yun Chu's unfamiliar face and different clothes, and paused for a moment: "Excuse me, you..."

Before she could finish speaking, Yun Chu had already made her move. Her movements were as fast as lightning. She grabbed her wrist and dragged her into a deserted corner of the stairs.

"What are you doing? Let me go!" The girl struggled in panic, but she was no match for Yun Chu.

Yun Chu didn't waste any words. She swiftly covered her mouth with her other hand, pressing her against the wall. Her gray pupils held no emotion, only a cold warning: "Quiet. Take off your school uniform jacket and the shirt underneath. Don't shout, or else..."

With a slight tightening of her fingers, the girl immediately felt a sharp pain in her wrist and a suffocating fear.

Faced with absolute power and chilling threats, this ordinary NPC student had almost no courage to resist.

Tears welled up in her eyes, her hands trembled, and she dared not utter a sound. She obediently took off her school uniform jacket and the white shirt underneath, revealing her summer sports vest.

Yun Chu let go of her, took the clothes that were still warm from her body, and quickly put them on herself.

The size is just right.

She stuffed the clothes she had changed out of into the deep end of the nearby trash can, then looked at the girl who was slumped on the ground, hugging her arms and trembling.

Do you recognize me?

The girl shook her head, indicating that she did not know him.

Yun Chu immediately turned and left, then went to find someone who knew her, and soon found out her class.

Grade 11 (7)!

With the school uniform as a disguise, Yun Chu's presence was immediately reduced. As she walked, she observed the surrounding environment and the state of the NPC students.

Most students appeared normal, but upon closer observation, one could notice that some had slightly vacant eyes or subtle incoordination in their movements, as if they had been programmed.

There are also some areas, such as the stairwell leading to the basement and the direction of the old laboratory building, that exude an unsettling atmosphere.

She easily found the main teaching building and went up to the third floor. There were even more students in the corridor, and some classrooms were already quite full, seemingly preparing for class.

She walked to the far left, where a sign read "Senior 2 (7) Class".

Looking through the window, the classroom was about a third full, with most seats still empty.

Yun Chu entered the classroom and immediately used a talisman to find her seat: the second to last row, student number 35.

Not long after Yun Chu sat down, seven more people entered.

Yun Chu recognized Xia Wanqi at a glance. He was wearing an ill-fitting school uniform, and his handsome face had a smile that he always wore, trying to show his friendliness, but his eyes were quickly and warily scanning every empty seat and NPC student in the classroom.

He was accompanied by two young men, both wearing school uniforms. One was sunny and lively (Tai Lele), and the other was more composed (Zhou Muyang).

The three had clearly entered as a team and were now exchanging rapid, hushed conversations, their eyes scanning the empty seats.

Besides them, there were four other players, two men and two women, scattered around, also anxiously searching for their "own" seats.

There were still about a dozen empty seats in the classroom, but on each empty desk there was only a small label in the upper right corner with a number printed on it—that was the student ID, not the name.

The NPC students were already seated in their places, casting curious, indifferent, or even malicious glances at the few "classmates" who were clearly looking for seats.

A male NPC wearing thick glasses muttered to his deskmate, "Look, another transfer student can't find a seat... How stupid."

His deskmate, a girl with freckles all over her face, covered her mouth and smiled, but her eyes glanced at the clock on the back wall of the classroom, as if she was expecting something.

Xia Wanqi frowned slightly. He tried to flash his charming, infectious smile, amplified by his allure, at a female NPC in the front row who seemed more approachable: "Excuse me, student..."

The female NPC looked up at him, and sure enough, a blush rose on her face. Her eyes were a little dazed, and she immediately told him the location of Xia Wanqi and the other two.

After finding out their location, Xia Wanqi and the others quickly sat down.

Zhou Muyang happened to be sitting right behind Yun Chu.

Because Yun Chu arrived first and was wearing a school uniform, Zhou Muyang assumed she was an NPC and was about to strike up a conversation when a teacher suddenly appeared at the door.

The stern female teacher strode to the podium, slammed the blackboard eraser on the desk, and coldly swept her gaze over the players from behind her glasses.

"Class has started! Still whispering to each other? What kind of behavior is this! Everyone, sit down right now!" Her voice carried an undeniable authority. "New students, your student ID numbers are on your desks. Take your seats! You have thirty seconds! Anyone still standing after thirty seconds will be considered to be disrupting the class!"

The moment the female teacher finished speaking, an invisible pressure enveloped the entire classroom.

The four players who hadn't found their seats yet suddenly changed their expressions. They frantically scanned the remaining seats and the student ID tags on the tables. Under the pressure of the countdown, they sat down almost entirely based on intuition and luck.

Thirty seconds passed in the blink of an eye.

"Time's up!"

The female teacher's voice rang out coldly, her gaze sweeping over the four players who had just sat down like a searchlight, finally settling on two of them—a tall, thin boy sitting in the third row in the middle, and a short-haired girl sitting in the fifth row by the window.

Her lips parted in an extremely strange, almost torn arc, revealing overly neat teeth, and her eyes gleamed with an uncontrollable, almost ecstatic light.

"You, and you too." She pointed precisely at the two men with her fingers painted with dark red nail polish. "The student ID numbers don't match. Who gave you permission to sit anywhere?"

The tall, thin boy and the short-haired girl instantly turned pale. They wanted to explain or get up, but found themselves pinned to their chairs, their voices stuck in their throats.

The female teacher had already stepped down from the podium with light, almost cheerful steps and came to the two of them.

She grabbed them by the back of their collars, one in each hand, and lifted them off their seats like chicks.
