Chapter 228 Super Soldier Company—Am I the Void?

Dark Nebula, inside the Death Song Library.

“My God, Nusa has failed.”

Snow, dressed in a black robe and wearing a skull mask, bowed to Karl.

"Okay, I understand." Karl was shirtless, wearing trousers, and doing yoga.

The moment the news broke, Karl knew that Nusa had failed.

No matter how strong Nusa was, he couldn't possibly kill Sun Wukong. He just wanted to try and see if he could hurt him. But to his surprise, Nusa didn't have a chance at all!

"Furthermore..." Snow added, "I didn't detect any of Nusa's dark data, not even after Sun Wukong left Earth."

Karl wasn't surprised. He explained, "Sun Wukong was originally a super soldier created in the era of the Old God River. The project was initiated and created during the late stages of civilization, but it wasn't implemented immediately."

"Moreover, Sun Wukong's super genes are comparable to the three major god-making projects, and his genes have been greatly optimized compared to the three major god-making projects, making him more decisive and efficient."

"And now, he has taken an unknown master as his master, and his strength has surpassed his current level by an unknown amount, far exceeding the expectations placed upon him when he was created."

Carl spoke calmly, but his words were full of disbelief.

Snow exclaimed in shock, "I never imagined that monkey was so strong?!"

What are the three major projects for creating idols?

That was originally the last resort of the Divine River Civilization in its final stage to resist the void.

At the end of the Shenhe Civilization, the Shenhe Civilization's understanding of the void reached its limit, and the super soldiers who could rival the three major god-making projects at that time were all absolutely capable of standing alone.

After the three major god-making projects were separated, they either produced the absolute strongest beings in each civilization, or directly became the main gods of that civilization!

"In that case, wouldn't Sun Wukong be our greatest enemy?!" Snow exclaimed, like a skilled straight man in a comedy duo.

"That's why I sent people to kill him, but it seems he's even harder to kill than I thought."

“However, it has given him a reason to wage war against us,” Karl chuckled.

"What a despicable monkey!" Snow shouted angrily.

Then, Karl saw Snow looking at him with a hesitant expression, and without guessing what the other was thinking, he knew what Snow was thinking. He then said, "Don't worry, I have a backup of Nusa's dark data. Reviving him is not a problem."

Upon hearing this, Snow breathed a sigh of relief, bowed, and left the hall.

Before Snow could even leave, Karl looked toward the doorway, and a robe spontaneously materialized on his body.

A tall figure strolled in with an air of casual ease, even brushing past Snow who had just left, without the other man reacting at all.

It's as if the other person doesn't exist.

The visitor was none other than Dio.

"You're Karl?"

Upon seeing Karl, Dio felt that the other person's face was like that of a pretty boy, a face that would make rich women scream if it were on Earth.

Moreover, the way Karl and Snow, master and servant, talked in perfect harmony always gave Dio the feeling of watching a comedy show.

Karl looked calmly at Dio and slowly began to speak:

“An unknown guest suddenly appeared in the known universe a thousand years ago. He first appeared on Earth and then went to the Angel Nebula, where he made some kind of agreement with the Holy Keisha.”

"Your body is incredibly strong, and you possess power that is beyond our comprehension."

"The Great Clock cannot calculate your past and future. Even today, I have only discovered traces of your existence. You are like... the void."

As Carl finished speaking, his voice became excited, and his body began to tremble.

Seeing Karl in his current state, Dio raised an eyebrow. He knew, of course, that Karl's lifelong wish was to embrace the Void and join it.

The so-called void is actually a civilization that surpasses the entire world in terms of wisdom and knowledge reserves.

They believe:

No matter how advanced the primary biological civilization becomes, it will always encounter even stronger, uncontrollable forces; forces that are insurmountable under the primary biological technology. Simply put, the universe cannot contain the highest intelligence. Intelligence cannot transcend the universe, and therefore cannot comprehend it. They define this as the ultimate fear, an obstacle that intelligence cannot overcome.

In a state of ultimate fear, all cognition may be completely wrong.

To give an example: when scientists are studying the universe, they discover the edge of the universe, but these scientists cannot use all the knowledge they have gained from ancient times to the present to define the edge of the universe they have discovered.

If we cannot define the existence of another, does that mean it truly does not exist?

No, it truly exists.

But you can't define it.

It's a tongue twister, isn't it? 1

Therefore, Karl proposed that there was a kind of knowledge that no civilization had been able to understand that could unlock all of this, that could unlock everything that even the highest intelligence could not penetrate.

He called it the ultimate void.

Simply put, it refers to some kind of intelligent civilization capable of transcending the universe.

Karl, however, tirelessly searched for this civilization.

Dio was not a person of this universe, and in a sense, he fits the concept of the void that Karl was pursuing.

Unfortunately, after Dio arrived in this universe, he also searched for the so-called Void and found that apart from some vague connection between this universe and the League of Legends universe, there was basically no such thing as the Void.

But it contains the ruins of a more advanced civilization.

This is the civilization that Karl once named Pangu.

This is a super civilization that existed before the Shenhe Civilization, and may even have once dominated the universe.

In Karl's understanding, the Pangu Civilization 2 might have been destroyed by the void because the civilization was too powerful, which is why they were able to see the ruins of the Pangu Civilization.

But what is the actual situation?

We might have to go back in time to take a look.

In order to prepare for the arrival of the Void, Karl even abandoned his three-dimensional physical body and transformed himself into a form that was difficult to understand by common sense.

Karl quickly regained his composure.

He was indeed a pure scholar, and he was willing to give everything for the Void, but the Dio before him was completely different from the Void he knew.

If they were forced to acknowledge each other, Karl might go insane.

With a wave of his hand, Karl intended to use the Great Clock to transfer Dio away. However, as soon as the large black face that appeared in the Great Clock's calculation space moved away, Dio was still standing in the same spot, as if nothing had just happened.

Carlton was stunned. What was going on?

Why did the large clock transfer fail?

However, judging from the results, this space was indeed shifted, and the destination was indeed the black hole cluster he had set.

"Doesn't it seem illogical? Why haven't I been teleported away yet?" Dio asked.

He slowly walked forward, and that inexplicable aura instantly swept across the entire Death Song Academy, even causing Karl to subconsciously take a step back.

"I stepped back?" Karl realized instantly, surprised that he had actually stepped back.

Having already abandoned his physical body, he no longer experiences significant emotional fluctuations without the control of hormones.

And now, his emotional fluctuations have reappeared!
