Chapter 175 Godzilla—The Man Who Followed Us
Chapter 175 Godzilla—The Man Who Followed Us
When Dio found Odin, he had two little ones with him.
Kratos' son Atreus and Thor's daughter Sloth!
Dio looked at the two smirking men with a strange expression, not realizing how the two little ones had followed them.
Stroking Ghidorah's soft exoskeleton due to its shrinkage, he looked at Odin and asked, "What happened? I don't remember bringing them with me."
Odin sighed and explained, "The two of them must have come in when you didn't have time to close the door."
Dio nodded thoughtfully.
He couldn't keep his telepathic abilities active all the time, and if he had to be wary of Odin while traveling with him, it would be disrespectful to Odin.
“Goodness, Kratos and Thor will go crazy,” Dio joked.
Odin was also helpless, looking at the two little ones with a headache.
“You can’t just follow us. If we go somewhere dangerous and we don’t find you right away, your families will be very worried!” Odin took a deep breath and earnestly advised.
The two obediently nodded, but what they were really thinking remained a mystery.
Dio looked at the two of them, still dressed in their signature attire, and smiled gently: "Alright, there's nothing dangerous here. Let's take a look around. We'll be in contact with each other again anyway."
Odin wasn't surprised that Dio played the villain, but he was somewhat taken aback by the second half of Dio's statement.
Seeing Odin's surprised expression, Dio explained, "It's always good to broaden one's horizons. After all, these two little ones aren't very old, and they'll pick things up quickly. Let's go, let's go explore other places."
With a wave of his hand, Dio opened a portal.
Across the street was a large city. When they saw the portal that suddenly appeared and several people, the people on the street were stunned and stood there in shock.
A massive blizzard suddenly appeared, instantly covering the streets with snow from Antarctica. Dio and his companions slipped away through a hidden door.
Just as Dio and his companions left, a colossal Titan broke through the ice and arrived.
It is none other than Godzilla, the Titan, the King of Monsters, who has awakened on Earth!
Godzilla looked around in confusion. He had sensed King Ghidorah's presence before breaking through the ice, but why did he not notice it once he came out?
And looking around, this was indeed King Ghidorah's frozen land, but he just couldn't find it.
Godzilla roared to the sky, a defiant roar directed at King Ghidorah.
As an alien species, Ghidorah not only stirs up storms large enough to cover the size of Greenland when it moves, but it can also be detected with a simple sense.
Godzilla didn't hesitate and went back inside.
……
It was the first time the two children had seen a modern metropolis, but they didn't feel anything particularly strong. They just wondered why the buildings were so tall.
The only thing they were curious about was the cell phone in the pedestrian's hand.
"This thing is a cell phone? It doesn't look any different from the communicators you've been promoting in the universe." Slud held out her hand, revealing something that looked like a ring.
The items that Dio created, which were similar to mobile phones and combined communication and play devices, were not uniform in style.
But most of them have one thing in common: portability.
Items resembling Earth-shaped mobile phones are the most primitive, and the original prototypes have long been obsolete, which is why mobile phone designs are now the least used and least manufactured.
"Want it?" Dio asked.
Slud shook her head; what she had was perfectly useful, and she didn't need to take any more.
Atreus did want one; he seemed to have some kind of collecting obsession, enjoying collecting good things.
Dio glanced at him unexpectedly. When playing the game, he thought that Kratos, who was controlled by the player, had a collecting habit, but he didn't expect that the real Atreus also had one.
However, Dio still gave him one.
“Let’s go. Monarch may already be watching us,” Dio instructed after giving Atreus one of the most advanced smartphones on Earth.
"Oh?" Odin glanced at the few black SUVs driving at the end of the street and snorted coldly.
"Old man, don't do anything rash. We should try diplomacy first, then resort to force."
As soon as Dio finished speaking, the SUVs stopped, and a group of fully armed men pointed guns at them.
They even brought out heavy firepower.
The arrival of this group scared away the passersby who were watching nearby.
The leader appeared and shouted at them, "Put your hands behind your heads and lie face down on the ground, or we'll shoot you right now!"
Odin looked at Dio, his eyes seeming to say: Now?
Dio was speechless. If these people had gotten off the train and talked things out properly, Dio might have gone with them to the Imperial Organization for a bit of fun. But instead, they ended up fighting each other as soon as they arrived.
Dio's face instantly darkened, and he instantly unleashed his psionic magic, causing the cars and people to twist and merge into a mass of flesh and metal.
Atreus and Slud were startled, not out of fear, but because it was the first time they had ever witnessed such a horrifying method of murder.
Looking back now, Kratos and Thor's fighting styles are such that one at least still vaguely resembles a human, and if you put them together, you can still tell they're human.
Thor's fighting style was much more heroic; he was either vaporized or turned into mincemeat, or at least killed instantly.
Slud discovered that a few of the people were still alive, groaning in agony.
Seeing that Odin had no reaction, he asked Dio, "Where are we going now?"
Dio couldn't possibly allow himself to be captured by a mere mortal organization, nor could he simply slink away; he must have a place to stay.
"Let's go to the inner world! Let's experience its scenery and see those Titans up close," Dio suggested after thinking for a moment.
This sentence piqued the interest of both children.
Giant creatures do exist in the world of God of War, but most of them are mindless monsters or legendary divine beasts, which are impossible for children like them to approach.
Upon hearing that they could get up close to the giant beast, the two little ones immediately became interested.
It doesn't matter if it's a mythical beast or not, as long as it's big enough!
Then, under the expectant gazes of the two little ones, Dio opened the portal to the inner world of the earth.
Two hours later, in the Imperial Organization meeting room.
Dr. Serizawa stared intently at the video of the fall of Area Zero, while he was surrounded by the heads of Monarch.
Dr. Emma Russell sighed, "This is practically a human monster!"
Dr. Chen did not offer an opinion; she strongly agreed with Emma Russell's statement.
The video quickly switched again, this time showing surveillance footage of Dio instantly killing fully armed personnel on the street.
Everyone stared wide-eyed in astonishment at the scene before them.
Even though these people were surprised, they still asked, "After the MUTO incident, we were only responsible for monster-related matters. This is clearly a supernatural event. Does the government want us to take charge?"
Upon hearing the words "Muto incident," Emma Russell's expression changed, and she lowered her head.
At that moment, the person at the front of the conference room turned on the light, bringing light back from the darkness, and everyone could finally see who it was.
He is a military general!
