Chapter 122 Warhammer - The Timeline is Too Early

Chapter 122 Warhammer - The Timeline is Too Early

When the other legions saw that the Warhounds were actually going out alone to find their Primarchs, all the legions went crazy.

Especially the Blood Angels Chapter, which later became the Ninth Legion, now hated by everyone.

Anyone familiar with Warhammer knows that Space Marines possess a taste detection organ, which allows them to detect toxins and track targets by ingesting food.

This organ is an artificial organ present in all Space Marines.

But the Ninth Army was different.

Their highly developed taste-detecting organs give them a greater craving for the flesh and blood of their enemies during battle, resulting in a genetic defect known as bloodthirst.

They would even eat the flesh and blood of their enemies, earning them the derogatory titles of ghouls and vampires.

They've only recently unified Terra, and at most they're just more obsessed with the flesh and blood of the living than other chapters.

At least, the Ninth Legion hasn't yet seen anything like Dante, who, driven by uncontrollable thirst, sucked the lifeblood of mortal auxiliary troops dry like milk tea.

Even so, the current acting leader of the chapter keenly discovered the shortcomings of himself and his fellow combatants, and was troubled by them.

When they learned that the Emperor had the coordinates of their Primarchs, they all became restless.

Especially when the Warhound Legion, which was one of the three great berserker legions along with them, had already selected a company of soldiers to go to space ahead of them, they also followed suit and put together a company of soldiers.

Then, he knelt down in front of the Emperor's palace along with the other dozen or so battle group leaders who were also boosting their teams.

Why are there more than ten?

Because the First, Seventh, and Thirteenth Legions had already left.

After all, the Lion King, Dorn, and the Smurfs are of great importance at the moment.

It's not that the other legions aren't important, but these three are currently the Empire's essential needs.

Inside the palace, Dio and the Emperor invited Macardo and Valdo to play a four-player card game called "Three Kingdoms Kill," where they teamed up in pairs.

"Aren't you going to do anything about them?" Dio asked, fiddling with the cards in his hand.

He teamed up with Makado, using Zhen Ji and Zhuge Liang respectively.

The Emperor and Waldo are in one group, namely Sima Yi and Liu Bei.

"No need, I sense there's something wrong with my offspring." The Emperor calmly played a kill card.

"There's a problem? What problem?" Dio put down the cards in his hand. There hadn't been any problems in the original storyline when the Primarchs returned.

Could this be a conspiracy by Tzeentch?

The Emperor explained, “I spoke with a few Eldar gods yesterday, and they are willing to form an alliance with us, as long as we deal with Slaanesh, and they don’t mind if we kill the Dark Eldar.”

Dio nodded to indicate that he knew.

The Great Imperial Expedition marked a turning point in the rise of human destiny in this world.

If things go well, humanity will return to its peak; if not, it will become a cesspool like it was in the original 40k era.

Humans and Eldar are essentially a community of shared destiny, as humanity's technological advancements during its golden age were made possible by the Eldar gods' help in shielding the Warp.

Otherwise, why don't humans develop high technology now?

Is the wet component better, or is it that the Emperor doesn't have it?

Keep in mind that the Emperor is an ancient monster who has lived for tens of thousands of years. In the lore, he is a genetics expert. If he didn't need to brainstorm and have assistants, he could create the Primarch and Astartes by himself.

Do we need help from others?

It's noisy.

However, the Emperor is unable to produce those high-tech advancements now, mainly because chaos severely corrupts many technological creations.

The relationship between humans and the Eldar is actually quite delicate.

In the original storyline, the Smurf Robb Guilliman was awakened from the stasis field with the help of the Eldar. Even during the Great Rebellion, some Eldar cautiously helped the Primarchs return to Terra.

The reason for this is that although the Eldar escaped the massacre by Slaanesh, they are still in imminent danger because of Slaanesh.

If it weren't for the rise of the new human race standing in their way, the Eldar would have been wiped out long ago.

They needed the rise of humanity to help them fight back, and these Eldar gods made a deal with the Emperor for that reason.

The exchange was simple: the emperor would take charge of the rise to power, and the gods would send the white sprouts to assist the empire.

After humanity rises to power, the Eldar can simply be allowed to reproduce and thrive again.

Anyway, with several gods from the Spirit Race watching over them, they won't do anything to stab them in the back.

On the contrary, they were afraid that the emperor would not keep his word.

"Then why didn't you call me last night?" Dio asked, his eyes wide.

He had never seen the so-called Eldar gods. You see, all he knew about the Warhammer world was the Imperium of Man, and even that wasn't much. The few Warhammer novels from his memories were all stored in his memory palace, and he would only look at them when he wanted to.

Sure enough, no one who hasn't been here would know that the Spirit Race has gods!

Seeing that he had diverted Dio's attention, the emperor breathed a sigh of relief while giving him a sidelong glance.

Dio and his army were not born in this world; they were outsiders.

Their souls did not have a projection in the warp.

Not the soulless type, nor the Tau people.

There is absolutely none.

The area where they were located was nothing in the subspace projection; the subspace remained exactly as it was originally.

When Dio came to the Warhammer world, the black hole was simply something he violently broke into; it wasn't a natural manifestation of his psionic projection.

After assessing the four vendors' visual abilities, Dio simply took it back.

The Emperor initially wanted to find Dio, but the psionic phone call went nowhere and he couldn't find him.

When asked about his own guards, Dio went out!

"I went to look for you, but I couldn't find you. By the way, what did you do yesterday?" the Emperor asked.

Dio suddenly realized, and scratched his head awkwardly.

He went to Fenris yesterday to see if Hela was there.

However, since the system bracelet showed that Hela was not in the Warhammer world, Dio went there instead.

Nothing was found.

After thinking about it, the time laws in the Warhammer world are quite obvious; it might be a problem with the timeline.

Although he traveled later, he arrived in an earlier timeline, while Hela, although she traveled earlier, arrived in a later timeline.

Seeing that Dio did not answer, the emperor did not say anything more and silently withdrew his gaze.

The two people beside them remained silent and did not interrupt.

Dio paused for a moment, then realized he seemed to have forgotten something.

"I have other matters to attend to, so I'll take my leave first." The emperor then stood up, intending to depart.

As Dio watched the Emperor rise, he suddenly remembered something: "Wait a minute, first explain why those Primarchs are having problems!"

The emperor stopped in his tracks and turned back helplessly.

Makado and Waldo tactfully got up and left one after the other.

Once only the two of them were left in the room, the Emperor spoke: "Among my children, several have already awakened their true nature."

"WTF?!"
