“Sister Xiaoling, you’re going the wrong way,” Cheng Wei ran up behind An Ling. “Your room is on the other side. Slow down, don’t twist your ankle again.”

“It shouldn’t be in the banquet hall. I feel like it was still there when I took the elevator,” An Ling tried to make herself sound more believable. “It’s just a very simple full-diamond necklace, but it’s quite thin, so it might be a little hard to find.”

Her face turned deathly pale instantly, and she froze on the spot, as if something was blocking her throat, unable to utter another word.
In the scene, Cao Ling happily wrapped her arms around Cheng Zhuoxing's neck after opening the door, and then stood on tiptoe and couldn't wait to kiss him.
