Chapter 133 The Celestial Dance Party
Chapter 133: The Absurd Celestial Ball in the Immortal Realm
Liu Yu and his companions' days in the Immortal Realm were always full of surprises and unexpected events. On this particular day, a grand celestial ball was being held in the Immortal Realm, and upon hearing the news, Liu Yu and the others eagerly prepared to join in the fun.
When they arrived at the ball, they were greeted by dazzling lights, melodious music, and numerous deities dressed in magnificent costumes, dancing gracefully. Liu Yu was dazzled and thrilled.
As Liu Yu entered the venue, he accidentally stepped on the hem of a deity's robe, causing the deity to stumble and crash into a pile of fruit, getting juice all over his face. Liu Yu quickly apologized, "I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry!" The deity stood up awkwardly, laughing and crying at the same time, "You little rascal, you gave me a hard time as soon as you arrived!" Everyone burst into laughter at the sight.
Xu Xian and Xiao Qing couldn't help but chuckle, while Bai Suzhen gently shook her head, signaling Liu Yu to be careful.
Liu Yu scratched his head awkwardly and continued walking inside. Just then, a fairy gracefully approached and invited Liu Yu to dance. Liu Yu was flattered and quickly extended his hand. However, he had absolutely no idea how to dance, and in his nervousness, he tripped over his own feet, causing the fairy to fall to the ground, and the two tumbled together. The fairy blushed with anger: "You idiot!" Liu Yu quickly got up and apologized profusely.
Xu Xian was laughing so hard he couldn't stand up straight, and Xiao Qing was laughing so hard she was doubled over.
Helpless, Bai Suzhen stepped forward, pulled Liu Yu up, and said, "I'll teach you." So, Bai Suzhen led Liu Yu to slowly jump. But Liu Yu could never keep up with the rhythm, either stepping on Bai Suzhen's feet or bumping into other gods.
A moment later, Liu Yu made another mistake. He saw a deity opposite him holding a plate of delicious food. The food looked so tempting that Liu Yu's attention was immediately drawn to it. As a result, he forgot his dance steps and rushed straight towards the plate of food, knocking the plate out of the deity's hand and scattering the food all over the ground. The surrounding deities were stunned, and then burst into laughter.
Liu Yu stood there awkwardly, at a loss for what to do.
Suddenly, the music sped up, and the gods' dance steps quickened. In his panic, Liu Yu tripped over the hem of his own clothes and fell face-first into the mud. Struggling to his feet, he accidentally knocked over a row of decorative bouquets, which fell and rained down on the heads of the other gods.
The entire ballroom was in chaos, filled with constant laughter.
Xu Xian, caught up in the joyful atmosphere, wanted to show off his skills. He invited a beautiful fairy to dance, but after only two steps, he stepped on her dress and tore it. The fairy, both embarrassed and annoyed, turned and left. Xu Xian stood there awkwardly, unsure what to do.
Xiaoqing laughed until tears streamed down her face when she saw this. She decided to dance too, but as soon as she stepped onto the stage, she was knocked away by a spinning fairy and landed on the big cake in the center of the stage, smashing the cake to pieces.
Halfway through the ball, the host announced a dance competition. Liu Yu volunteered to participate, confidently stepping onto the stage, ready to show off his skills.
As the music started, Liu Yu began to wiggle his body, but his movements were so comical that he looked like a monkey jumping around wildly. The other contestants were stunned, while the audience laughed until their stomachs hurt.
After the competition, Liu Yu unsurprisingly came in last place. He said defiantly, "It's just that I didn't perform well; I'll definitely win next time!" Everyone laughed even louder at this.
As the ball drew to a close, everyone began to mingle freely. Liu Yu saw a deity holding a cup of fine wine and curiously went over to try it. The deity generously handed it to him, and Liu Yu drank it all in one gulp. However, the wine was too strong, and he immediately passed out, babbling incoherently and even singing off-key.
It took Xu Xian and Xiao Qing a lot of effort to drag him out of the ballroom.
After leaving the ball, they continued their travels in the fairy realm.
They saw a deity selling magical artifacts. Liu Yu curiously picked up a gourd and asked, "What's this gourd for?" The deity said, "This gourd can shrink people." Liu Yu didn't believe it, but the deity chanted a few incantations, and Liu Yu really did shrink. Terrified, he shouted, "Shrink me back!"
They came to a garden where the flowers seemed to dance. Liu Yu tried to pick one, but the flower suddenly jumped away and made a face at him.
As they walked, they came across a deity painting. Liu Yu went over to take a look and said, "This doesn't resemble anything at all." The deity glared at him and said, "What do you know about art!"
Just then, a flock of cranes flew overhead. Liu Yu wanted to ride one, but the cranes refused and swatted him into the river with their wings.
Xu Xian and Xiao Qing quickly pulled him up.
In the evening, they found a place to rest.
That night, Liu Yu lay in bed, reminiscing about the day's interesting experiences, and drifted off to sleep. In his dream, he became the most skilled dancer among the immortals, shining brightly at a ball...
