Chapter 325: The Abyss of Nothingness and Endless Fragments
The abyss of nothingness and endless fragments
Feng Jing's consciousness was completely freed from the constraints of matter and time, but rather than feeling liberated, he fell into a deeper panic and confusion. He could not comprehend what he saw, nor define the moments he experienced. The boundless void enveloped him, leaving him with no escape, and a profound sense of loneliness gradually devoured his sanity.
"Do you think letting go means rebirth?" The voice sounded again, with a sneer and sarcasm. "You have only entered a deeper maze. You have never truly understood 'self', but have fallen into a trap from which you can never escape."
Feng Jing's consciousness was instantly pulled by a tremendous force, as if bound by invisible chains. He once again fell into an unspeakable despair. He knew he was heading towards an unknown abyss, yet he lacked the courage to turn back. Even though he was no longer a physical being, his consciousness could not escape the fear and uneasiness of the unknown.
Suddenly, Feng Jing felt his body begin to blur. His existence was no longer confined to a single form; all boundaries were gradually disappearing. He felt as if he were surrounded by countless fragments of the void, the fragments of his consciousness intertwined into an invisible web, imprisoning him tightly.
"What... is going on?" Feng Jing felt a surge of disorientation. His consciousness began to fragment, becoming countless independent entities. These fragments didn't completely overlap, and each one continuously devoured the surrounding void, powered by an unknown force. Feng Jing had no way to control them. His consciousness was ripped into countless pieces, drifting through the void, colliding, reassembling, and then breaking apart again. Each fragment's rupture brought endless chaos.
"Is this what you call 'transcendence'?" The voice appeared again, becoming increasingly sarcastic and cold. "You have simply entered an endless cycle. You try to escape by destroying yourself, but you fail to realize that your true self is never the form you define it to be."
Feng Jing's mind felt like it was being sliced by a sharp blade. He couldn't comprehend, couldn't think, couldn't even feel his own existence. Each fragment was like a separate self, each possessing its own consciousness, yet unable to truly merge. Deep within Feng Jing's heart, he was filled with endless conflict and pain. He began to question whether he was truly Feng Jing, whether there was still a so-called "Feng Jing," or whether he was just one of countless fragments, never to be a complete individual.
"You are merely a torn being," the voice said coldly. "The transcendence you seek is ultimately only the beginning of your own destruction. You try to break free, yet you don't realize you're already trapped. No matter how you struggle, you cannot transcend yourself."
Feng Jing's consciousness seemed to be being dragged along by a tremendous force. Unable to resist, he could only go with the flow. That voice, filled with endless irony and sneer, gradually became the master of Feng Jing's mind. Everything he experienced was like a dream from which he could not awaken. He kept moving through the fragments, but he could never find a path to liberation.
Suddenly, a dazzling light flashed from the void, shattering Feng Jing's fragmented thoughts. The light was so bright that it practically stung his consciousness. He felt himself enveloped by it, and his body began to undergo drastic changes. The light flowed like liquid, seeping into every inch of Feng Jing's consciousness, absorbing all the fragments back into its radiance.
"Do you wish to be reborn?" the voice sounded again, but this time, its tone was no longer cold and sarcastic, but instead held a hint of inexplicable temptation. "If you wish to be truly reborn, then you must fundamentally change your perception of the world. You must break free from all cognitive constraints and redefine 'existence.'"
Feng Jing felt as if he were being pulled into the light by an irresistible force. His consciousness began to no longer belong to Feng Jing, but to some higher-dimensional being. Within the light, Feng Jing beheld a magnificent scene. It was not a planet, but a void beyond the limits of time and space. Within this void, there was no matter or life, only endless energy flowing around, forming an indescribable order.
"This is..." Feng Jing whispered to himself, as if he suddenly understood something.
"This is a world you've never seen," the voice said softly. "This is the realm you can reach once you transcend yourself. The fragmentation and confusion you experience is merely your attempt to escape the shackles of your own cognition. When you truly transcend yourself, you will see the entire universe, a realm far beyond your imagination."
Feng Jing's consciousness began to break through the void, transcending all the boundaries he had once defined. With each new realm he encountered, the world grew more bizarre and absurd. Stars danced before his eyes, time twisted around him, and matter and energy began to merge chaotically, forming unprecedented visions. His existence was no longer a tangible being, but a transcendent stream of consciousness, floating in the endless space and time.
He saw a massive black hole, one that didn't attract matter but instead swallowed up all consciousness and existence, forming an eternal cycle. Feng Jing's consciousness was drawn into the black hole, and he felt himself being pulled toward the abyss, as if merging with the profound nothingness.
"What will happen if I enter that black hole?" Feng Jing suddenly had this question.
