Spy Wars: Strong Agents Who Are Ruthless and Talk Little

Chapter 382 Creating Chaos

Chapter 382 Creating Chaos

In the mirror, the vague outlines of two figures could be seen, crouching over the container, aiming in a hidden direction. Su Ming's eyes narrowed slightly as he considered his next move. Countless possible plans flashed through his mind, but in the end, only one remained feasible: creating chaos.

He quickly pulled a simple sonic jammer from his waist pack, custom-made for him by Ajie. While it couldn't cause any real damage, it was enough to distract the opponent. Su Ming gently placed the device on the ground, set a delayed activation, and quickly retreated deeper into the shadows.

A few seconds later, a sharp, piercing sound suddenly rang out, echoing off the metal walls of the warehouse. The sniper above instantly tensed and began to look around.

"Has the target been locked?" one of them asked in a low voice, with obvious uneasiness in his voice.

"There are no unusual targets. It could be an equipment failure." Another person answered. Although his tone was calm, Su Ming could hear a hint of anxiety in it.

Su Ming's lips curled slightly, and taking advantage of the moment the two men were distracted, he quietly circled around to the back of the container. He climbed up the iron frame, his movements swift and silent, and only when he was less than ten meters away from the sniper did he gently pull the trigger.

The first muffled thud barely registered any alarm, and the target collapsed without even a chance to call for help. The other sniper was about to turn when Su Ming swiftly tackled him from behind, delivering a sharp elbow that instantly knocked him unconscious.

"The cleanup above is complete." Su Ming reported through the headset, his eyes revealing calmness and confidence.

"You have two targets left," Ajie reminded, a hint of nervousness in his voice. "They've noticed something's wrong and are closing in on your position."

Su Ming quickly adjusted his position, crawling along the top of the container, using his vantage point to observe the enemy's movements. The two targets were clearly more alert, their steps slow and cautious. One of them even whispered to himself from time to time, as if requesting support.

"Time is running out, I suggest we resolve this quickly," Ajie urged.

Su Ming didn't answer, instead waiting quietly for a better opportunity. He held his breath, observing the two men's pace and distance. Just as one of the targets lowered his head to check the ground, he decisively pulled the trigger, the bullet accurately hitting the other's chest. The other reacted quickly, immediately hiding behind the container, clearly a seasoned veteran.

"You're exposed!" Ajie raised his voice to remind.

"It's okay," Su Ming said solemnly, his fingers quickly reloading the bullets. At the same time, he took advantage of the upper position and quickly changed his position. He knew that the opponent would definitely return fire at the place where he had fired before, so he deliberately made a little noise to attract the target's attention.

Sure enough, the opponent's bullet shot straight at the point of movement he created, and metal sparks on the wall instantly flew everywhere.

"Very calm." Su Ming murmured in a low voice, with a hint of admiration in his voice, but his actions were without hesitation. He quickly went around to the opponent's flank, took aim, and fired.

After the last muffled sound, the warehouse returned to deathly silence again.

Su Ming jumped down from the top of the container and checked the fallen target. He relaxed a little after confirming that there were no signs of life. He took a deep breath and forced himself to calm down.

"The warehouse has been cleared, now it's time to deal with the core area." Su Ming reported into the headset.

"Well done." Ajie's voice was filled with a hint of relief. "But you can't let your guard down. There may be more hidden devices or additional defenses in the core area."

"I know," Su Ming replied, his gaze turning towards the iron door deep inside the warehouse. His intuition told him that the real challenge had just begun.

He checked his equipment, loaded his gun, and the spare magazines in his waist pack were running low, but they were enough to deal with the next situation. He lowered his body and carefully approached the iron door, his fingers stroking the door handle, feeling the slight coolness of the metal surface.

The unknown behind the door made his heart beat faster, but it was more exciting. He knew that danger and opportunity coexisted, and what he was good at was dancing on the edge of a knife.

"Su Ming, are you ready?" Ajie asked in a low voice.

"We can start anytime." He replied, a sneer on his face, his eyes full of determination and decisiveness.

Su Ming held onto the iron door, his heartbeat steady as a drum. He didn't push it open immediately. Instead, he closed his eyes, adjusted his breathing, and immersed himself in a state of utter calm. A familiar feeling welled up within him: a state both dangerous and exhilarating, as if he were standing on the edge of a cliff, poised to plummet into the abyss at any moment.

Ajie's voice came from the headset: "Su Ming, don't forget, the goal of the core area is to seize intelligence, not to clear the area. Any excessive movement may trigger the enemy's hidden defense system, or even the automatic destruction device."

"I know," Su Ming replied calmly, his voice reassuringly calm. Even so, his gaze quickly scanned the area around the iron door, keeping an eye out for any small mechanisms. Sure enough, he spotted subtle traces of wiring in an inconspicuous corner near the door.

The corners of his mouth curled up slightly. "They did a very detailed job, but it's not enough."

Pulling a multi-tool from his waist pack, he quickly set to work, severing the wires and short-circuiting the critical nodes. The entire process took less than thirty seconds. Su Ming felt his heartbeat gradually synchronize with the rhythm of his hands, calm and precise. He knew he didn't have much time, as if anyone noticed the abnormality in the wiring, he could be immediately surrounded by the enemy.

After successfully disconnecting the line, he pushed open the iron door. A soft creaking sound echoed deep into the warehouse. Before him was a smaller compartment, dimly lit but filled with a variety of electronic equipment. The data streams dancing on the screens were eerie and unsettling, and on the table in the center of the room sat a black lockbox.

"The target is here," Su Ming muttered to himself, and then began to search the room. His intuition told him that there might be other potential threats here. He looked around, his eyes fixed on a ventilation vent in the corner.

"Ajie, confirm the connection of the ventilation duct for me." He ordered quickly.

"Give me three seconds," Applejack replied. A few seconds later, the voice sounded again, "The ventilation duct leads to the outside of the warehouse and is likely a backup escape route. You need to be careful because the duct may become a hiding place for lurkers."

Su Ming nodded, wasting no time. He pulled a small jammer from his tool kit and installed it next to the device in the center of the room to prevent the data from being transmitted in real time. Then, his gaze turned again to the password box.

He knew that opening the box would likely trigger the alarm system, and once the alarm sounded, he would be faced with an inescapable battle of life and death.
